10/02/09 05:01 PM

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of CEATAC JAPAN, organizers of the IT & Electronics Comprehensive Exhibition have created the message, “Challenge! Aiming to better people’s lives and create a low-carbon society.” The message seeks to introduce the latest measures taken by the IT and electronics industry on the topics of energy conservation and “green” activities.

Over five days beginning October 6 at Makuhari Messe (Mihama-ku, Chiba), attendees of CEATEC JAPAN, which in the recent years has garnered significant attention not only in Japan but worldwide, will see a range of cutting-edge IT and electronics technologies under the theme of Digital Convergence: Defining the Shape of Our Future.

Organized by three institutes -- the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association, Communications and Information Network Association of Japan, and Computer Software Association of Japan – the exhibition will showcase exhibit categories from electronic components and devices to digital home appliances, mobile phones, as well as an extensive variety of services and content.

For more information about the exhibition, visit the CEATAC JAPAN website.
