$1.49M Contract to Develop Composite EMI Shielding

 

Angstron Materials Inc., has been awarded $1.494 million to develop processes for mass-producing chemically modified nano graphene platelets (NGPs), which are purported to have a nearly limitless number of applications in the aerospace, energy, defense, automotive and telecommunications markets. NGPs promise lightweight structural components as well as electromagnetic interference, radio frequency interference, electrostatic discharge, lightning strike and other functional and structural composite applications.
