The CM1693 EMI filter from California Micro Devices (CMD) is based on a four-pole, inductor-based architecture crafted to meet the emerging high-speed interface requirements of wireless handset applications. Based on the company’s proprietary Praetorian III® EMI filtering technology, the new filter has a two-layer coupled inductor architecture and large value inductances that permit the use of lower capacitance Zener diodes. Other product features include roll-off frequencies at 300 MHz typical, broad stop band starting at 700 MHz up to 6 GHz, minimal insertion loss of <1.5 dB typical, rise and fall times of less than 4 ns, and compact low-profile 0.4-mm pitch µDFN packaging. Find more product information on the CMD website.
