Rail-to-Rail Op Amps Offer High Precision to Portable Medical Equipment

 

Maxim-IC’s newly introduced zero-drift, rail-to-rail operational amplifiers are designed to isolate extremely small signals (0.1mV to 6mV) from an electrically noisy environment, which is typically characterized by a 300mV DC offset component and 1.5V common-mode component. This low-frequency region is susceptible to noise from power lines (50Hz) and other sources of electromagnetic interference.
