In the weeks since the new, revamped Interference Technology website was launched, we’ve received many compliments on the fresh clean new look. Even more gratifying is the number of EMC professionals who’ve been eager to share valuable information in the form of white papers, application notes, and videos. Of course, things have changed, and we no longer have an “Ask the Experts” section—though in its time, it provided help and valuable information and fielded some truly esoteric questions. Still, “Ask the Experts” is not so much gone as available in a different format. The new Forums provide a dedicated venue where questions, answers, and opinions can be posted. In a sense the roster of “experts” has been expanded to include every Interference Technology reader who visits a forum; and from the many fine articles we’ve received, we’re convinced they are a pretty impressive group.
The Forums available include Aerospace, Automotive, Military, NEBS/Telecom, Amplifiers, Antennas, Connectors, Ferrites, Shielding, and Testing. Just this week, several interesting questions have been posted including two on the Automotive Forum dealing with ISO 10605 requirements and weaponized EMP and its effect on cars. To Joining the question-and-answer process is as simple as clicking on a forum, registering, becoming part of the discourse. For example, check out the Automotive Forum.
