Business Awards for Excellence 2009

 

At the Business Awards for Excellence 2009 ceremony held in Cowes, Isle of Wight, MILMEGA received an award from UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) for International Business.

UKTI, the UK government's international business development organization, highly commended MILMEGA for continuing success in developing overseas markets. The judges were impressed with MILMEGA “adapting and succeeding in the development of the business since the management buyout.”

In the four years since the buyout, MILMEGA has doubled in size and this growth has been almost entirely as a result of export growth with an impressive 90 percent of sales being international with increasing success in China, India and South America.
