Silicone Filter Seals Adapt to a Wide Variety of Applications

12/23/08 08:55 AM

EESeals™ from Quell, Inc. provide EMI and transient protection in a wide variety of applications. Formed from a unique silicone rubber and slightly oversized, they adapt themselves to the space where they are installed. This conformal quality maintains electrical contact for any devices within the shield. Specifically, MOVs, resistors, and other components can be added to the seal. Discrete capacitors ranging from 0.5 pF to 0.1 µF with DC voltage ratings from 25 V to 200 V are available. Other product features include two gold-plated contacts per pin and numerous gold-plated peripheral contacts. Upon installation, they create an environmental seal for the host connector. Find more product information on the Quell website.
