Leader Tech Expands with a Global EMI Shielding Technology Center

01/13/09 10:32 AM

Well-known EMI shielding manufacturer Leader Tech has announced the completion of its Phase II, Global EMI Shielding Technology Center. This most recent expansion, based in Tampa, Fl, includes the addition of three domestic sales representatives, a new regional sales engineer, and a dedicated 45-press manufacturing line. This enhanced manufacturing capacity will focus on supplying the company's Slot-Lok line of board-level shields and will increase facilities for custom application volumes. The new press department allows customers the flexibility to create near-custom shielding solutions using standardized manufacturing methods—an approach that can lead to significant reduction in costs and lead-times. Similar capabilities are being developed for Leader Tech’s line of standard and custom precision beryllium copper shielding products.

Additionally, Leader Tech has expanded its technical support team. The recent appointments of three technical sales representatives include: Harthum Associates in the Rocky Mountain region, Win-Cor Electronic Sales in the New Jersey – New York region, and Admor Sales in Southern California. Also, Eric Arroyo will serve as regional sales engineer for the Midwest region based in the Chicago metro area. Learn more at the Leader Tech website.
